From the US to Canada and Kenya to Egypt. From New Zealand to Australia and Japan to India. From Ireland to the Netherlands, from Brazil to Peru… young people are making their way, walking their paths, learning and growing in their determination to help create a better world. They strive to get the tools they need to reach their dream through higher education.

Vision Quest Worldwide Scholarships has been formed to meet everyday expenses that students might require. From school and exam fees to books and materials, we hope to provide the funds that will help. In many countries around the world even $100 (USD) can go a very long way. Initially, we will give scholarships of $100 to $500 based on need. It is our goal to be able to provide much more in the future. But having sponsored several African children over the years who have become college students, it has been our experience that even small amounts are a welcomed benefit, and they have been so very grateful.

Candidates must be enrolled in a college or trade school. Based our guidelines, they will write an essay about themselves, their ups and downs, their goals and vision. They will provide school information, their counselor’s contact information and the purpose for the funds. The Humanity Shines Organization Board of Directors will select the recipients on a quarterly basis. Candidates and recipients can apply for two scholarships within a given year.

Our first scholarships will begin processing on April 1, 2025. Between now and then, we hope to build a scholarship fund that allows us to reach young people from every Continent. We all know there are young people who feel hopeless in the world and sometimes even small needs appear very, very big. We should want to be the answer to someone’s prayer, we should want to give relief to someone’s worry, we should want to ignite the flame of hope on someone’s path. Creator’s eye is on the sparrow… for us to see.
